The ALLIANCE is currently seeking members' input into our draft manifesto ahead of the upcoming UK General Election, which will take place on Thursday 7 May 2015. The aim of our manifesto is to highlight the most critical issues for people who are disabled, living with long term conditions and unpaid carers in order to support members in campaigning and discussions with prospective parliamentary candidates in the run up to the UK election. We invite members' views in shaping our manifesto and would welcome any comments to be sent to Colin Young, Senior Policy and Outcomes Officer; colin.young@alliance-scotland.org.uk, or Christopher Doyle, Policy and Information Assistant; christopher.doyle@alliance-scotland.org.uk, before Friday 6 March. We will be holding an online Twitter discussion on 6 March 1-2pm to explore the issues with members in further detail. To get involved, follow the @ALLIANCEScot Twitter account.
