“Together We Can Make a Difference” – Guest Post from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service

I This week, we would like to thank Mark Quinn and the rest of the team at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service for sharing some fantastic information and guidance on home safety, and the services which are available to support older people in their homes.

This leaflet, which can be downloaded by clicking here, highlights that there are things everyone can do to help older people stay safe from fire. This includes a free service which can be requested, where one of their crews visit people in their homes to check for fire hazards, and give information and support. They are encouraging people to get in touch and to share this information, highlighting that we can all play a role in keeping people safe in their homes.
