The programme follows Tommy Whitelaw, who gave up a life on tour with megastars such as Kylie Minogue and U2 to care for his mother who had been diagnosed with dementia. From student nurses to consultants, patients to politicians, the phenomenal Dementia Carer Voices campaign has brought about a dramatic shift in thinking on support for unpaid carers and those they care for.
