Our story - A new film launched today- speaking at Care inspectorate seminar

Hi 

Last month I was invited via Heather Edwards from  Care Inspectorate  to speak at the Care Inspectorate staff developments days
After the first day the Care inspectorate asked if they could film my talk the next day to put on the website and share with colleagues

With great thanks to Heather ,and colleagues at the care inspectorate for the opertunty to speak and be filmed sharing our story

Tommy recently spoke to our inspection team to talk about his experiences of caring for his mum Joan Whitelaw, who died last year after living with dementia for several years. He spoke about the difficulties he had getting the right services for his mum at the right time and how this led him to take his dementia awareness campaign "On Tour"
