NHS Chairmans Ambassador award - Improving the patients  experience NOV18th

A great honor to be nominated and on the Shortlist for one of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde’s (NHSGGC) annual Chairman’s Awards for campaigning on behalf of people with dementia and their carers.
Now in their fifth year, the awards recognise members of staff, or teams that have found ways to deliver improvements that benefit patients and service users, colleagues or NHSGGC.
I feel very honored to have been  Shortlisted within the Patient Ambassador/Volunteer category, which recognises members of the public and staff who provide outstanding help and support through volunteering or providing patient opinions either on a Public Partnership Forum or on a patients Panel. ‘People who go that extra mile, contributing tirelessly for the benefit of others.’
The winners will be announced in November at the Health Board’s public Annual Review event.
Further information about the awards can be found on their website.
