Hosting workshop ALLIANCE Conference May 1st Being Human: A Human Right Base to Health and Social Care in Scotland

Hi

Looking forward to attending and hosting a Dementia Carer Voices workshop with my Mentor and friend Irene Oldfather at the Alliance Conference May 1st

Being Human: A Human Right Base to Health and Social Care in Scotland

The practical application of human rights provides one of the principal challenges and opportunities facing the health and social care sector in Scotland.  Whilst putting human rights at the centre of service design and delivering can be testing, its adoption can result in a greater emphasis on the autonomy, privacy and dignity of people using services.
Join the ALLIANCE, our partners and other stakeholders from across national and local government, health services and the third sector to discuss how human rights can be successfully integrated into, and support the delivery of, high quality health and social care services and improve the lives of people who are disabled or living with long term conditions.
