Collecting life stories raising awareness our thoughts experiences can help others #dementia

This awareness campaign is based on the life stories, thoughts and opinions from families living with or caring for a loved one with dementia. Our lives in our words  To date the stories collected so far have helped with motions at councils reports to government reports within SW departments at City Councils and used at talks within the care sector ,Universities and colleges along with carer sharing their experiences in a film .Please see below on going projects our stories are part of .My mum like so many others deserved a better understanding and help and I as a son struggled to cope and why should that after all I just wanted to care for my mum and for mum to have the best chance ,access to the best help and for a better understanding within and towards
